Join us and our guest speaker, immigration attorney, Adam Green as we talk about life after J-1 status. Attorney Green will discuss topics including family sponsorship, H-1B, O-1 and various avenues to green card and permanent residency, start up’s, J-1 visa waivers and National Interest/Extraordinary Ability green cards. Visiting J-1 scholars and their dependents are encouraged to attend this special event.

Tax Information Workshop

The Tax information session provides international students and scholars guidelines about the United States tax system. An Internal Revenue Service (IRS) representative will be available to clarify and help determine which tax forms you will need to file. The session will emphasize the importance of tax filing.
