After H-1B status is approved, you are required to check-in at the International Center. Please submit the following documents to the International Center through the Upload Tool for UCI Departments. Please ask your department administrator to help you to upload an “H-1B/TN check-in documents” under “TN/H-1B Process” (make sure the file size is less than 10MB and it’s in a PDF or ZIP format):

- New Scholar Check-In Form
- Passport Biographical Page
- Most recent I-94 Document
- Visa Stamp (not applicable for Canadian citizens)
- Most recent entry stamp from Passport, if received at Port of Entry
- H-1B Rules Agreement
Additional Requirements (if applicable)
If you will have H-4 dependents accompany you during your appointment at UCI, please provide the following for dependent(s):
- Most recent I-94 Document
- Visa from Passport
- Most recent entry stamp from Passport, if received at Port of Entry
