Week 4Know Your Rights: Immigration Update for Students, Scholars, Temporary Workers, and Green Card Holders
Thursday, April 24, 2025, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
This session will explain the rights and obligations as students, temporary workers, or green card holders. It is designed to ensure compliance with the current Administration’s stricter enforcement of immigration law and procedure. This session provides a framework to navigate the new environment so noncitizens can study, work, live, and travel with less stress. DHS and American Consulates and Embassies are focused on stricter enforcement of the law, and by understanding and following the rules, non-citizens can avoid falling out of status, being removed, or being stuck abroad.
