Scholar Social Mixers
The International Scholar Social is an informal gathering for UCI visiting scholars, their families, and friends. This event provides a great opportunity for visiting scholars and their families to meet and connect with colleagues from across the UCI campus and community.

Scholar Workshops & Activities
The Scholar Workshops & Activities Series are an educational series that helps international scholars learn and navigate different areas of U.S. culture. Topics range from popular culture, travel destinations, technology, and many more.

Join our team as a Volunteer Scholar Coordinator
The International Center Scholar Program Coordinators are scholar volunteers who are active members of the International Center and assist professional staff with programs, events, and activities throughout the year. Scholar Program Coordinators are volunteers who will develop professionally and personally, while working as an essential part of the International Center Scholar team with overseeing the scholar network and sharing resources with fellow scholars and their families, and friends.

Favorite thing about UCI: One of the things I appreciate most about UCI is the abundance or greenery. Aldrich Park is my favorite spot whenever I need to clear my mind or enjoy a peaceful walk.

International Spouses & Partners
The International Spouses & Partners Network at UCI* is a group of spouses and partners of UCI affiliates that hosts events, mixers, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year to connect with each other and build community.
*Disclaimer: The International Spouses & Partners Network is a community-based group that is not officially sponsored by the International Center. The International Center supports their goals and occasionally collaborates on specific activities. However, most of their offerings are individually hosted.
International Coffee Hour
Co-hosted with the Counseling Center and Center for Excellence in Writing & Communication
International Coffee Hour is an opportunity for international and domestic students to engage in conversations, create friendships, share their culture, and to connect with the UCI community in a casual and comfortable environment. International Coffee Hour has been a collaboration between the Counseling Center and the International Center since the year 2000.
Across the Bridge
Co-hosted with the Cross-Cultural Center and the Study Abroad Center
Across the Bridge (ATB) is a place for international and domestic students to engage in open conversations about diversity in the U.S., personal identities, and cultural backgrounds and experiences.
Cultural Connections Workshop Series
Co-hosted with the Counseling Center
Cultural Connections Workshop Series is a drop-in discussion group that provides a safe and private space for international students to share their cross-cultural experiences, to discuss their concerns, and to support each other throughout the adjustment process.
Immigration Workshop Series provides international students and scholars with helpful job search information, important considerations that affect their visas, and advice on how to be successful in the U.S. workplace.
Life in the U.S. is an interactive and educational series that helps international students learn about different areas of U.S. culture. This series will inform international students about entertainment, holidays, games, and many more topics that are part of living in the U.S.
Special Programs and Activities
The International Center hosts various special programs and activities throughout the year, which include International Center Welcome Picnic, Social Security Shuttle, Speed Friending, Exploring Irvine, Tax Information Session, End of the Year Celebration, and many more!
