International Center must evaluate prospective employees for eligibility/extension of H-1B sponsorship. Department is required to submit the following documents to the International Center through the Upload Tool for UCI Departments. Please login with your UCInetID and follow the instructions to upload an “H-1B Before You Sponsor” documents:

After review, you will be contacted by the International Center to provide additional required documents to begin the process of sponsoring an H-1B employee. For staff positions: an HR approval will be needed to proceed with the H-1B sponsorship.
